Passing the Blessing Along

We were blessed to be able to share with others the past two weekends. Thanks to donors, volunteers, our staff and children, over 300 families were able to receive a food basket along with gifts for their children. But just as importantly as being able to share some physical needs, we were able to enjoy and encourage one another. And don’t we all just need a little smile and encouragement?

On the second Sunday in December, the families of the children we serve enjoyed a visit to the farm sharing time and eating a delicious lunch together. We shared the Christmas story and the hope that we have because of Jesus’ coming to earth. His hope is certainly a gift to all of us!

This past weekend, we had the help of a team from Atlanta, GA with us to host a festive time on the farm for our neighbors. It was certainly scaled down a bit to keep COVID protocols, but never-the-less, we enjoyed seeing over 600 of our neighbors throughout the day. What a joy to see many we haven’t seen in over two years now. Lots of smiles were shared along with fun, games and gifts. This is always a big undertaking, so the help of the team and many volunteers who have both time and donations made this time very special.

We hope you enjoy the pictures below and are encouraged to be a light in our world today as a witness of God’s abundant love. To God be the glory!

Merry Christmas!
