It’s 2023, and we at La Casa are excited to begin another year. Many have warned that this year could be very tough as a recession continues to threaten the economy. In El Salvador, cost of living is up 12-15 percent in every area – food, gas, clothing, housing. Add that up and it can be scary to think about how those extra funds will be provided. Although we have contingency plans, we move into this year with the confidence that God is in control and that His perfect plans will be done.
Our homes have been talking about this coming year with the children and helping to think forward – to dream. We’d like to share Oscar’s thoughts and his anticipations as he begins a new year filled with opportunity.
