Before coming to La Casa, I had never imagined that I would become a friend of God; but this friendship grew as I grew and as I began to know people who taught me how to have a relationship with God. In 2009, we began attending CIA Church. There is where my true relationship with God began. I began to understand that everything that has happened to me is part of God’s plan for my life. The Lord is the owner and center of my life; He is the sole provider of everything that I have been given in La Casa de mi Padre.

Now that I’m graduating from high school, I am very happy and thankful.  This would be not have been possible without the help of God and the wonderful people who have donated towards my education.

I have chosen to study Translation and Interpretation of the English Language with the purpose of helping La Casa with groups in the future. My goals and dreams are to graduate from university with honors, get a good job, buy a house and a car, so that I can later marry and have a family.

Some of my biggest desires are to serve the Lord all of my life, economically help La Casa, help my own family with their financial needs, and if it is possible, for me to buy them a house.

La Casa de mi Padre IS MY STORY, is my home, and is my family. I will never forget everything that I have experienced here. I have received a lot of help in my studies including studying advanced English courses. It has been a place where all my needs have been met. I have grown, experiencing God’s hand every day, while learning to face every obstacle.  I want to share this experience with my biological family and anyone else who will listen.  This place represents my life, and I know that because of the love of God, I’m here.

Now, I have to leave La Casa, and I will miss it very much.  I’m moving to the transition home, where I will be part of this new home. I will live with 7 other young adults and a set of house parents. God has shown me His plans for me through this miracle. This new stage in my life is exciting; it’s one more opportunity that La Casa and God has given me. There, I’m going to learn to be independent and make my own decisions that will define my future. I thank God for allowing me to reach this time in my life.

Desde que llegué a La Casa, nunca me imagine que iba a ser amiga de Dios; pero esta amistad la desarrolle a medida que iba creciendo y me iba relacionando con personas que me enseñaron a  tener una relación con el Señor. En el 2009, comenzamos a asistir a la Iglesia CIA. Es ahí donde comencé una verdadera relación con el Señor, ahí comprendí que todo lo que me ha pasado esta dentro de su plan para cumplir su voluntad. El Señor es el dueño, el centro de mi vida y el único proveedor de lo que aquí en La Casa de mi Padre he podido obtener.

Ahora que me voy a graduar de bachillerato, me siento súper alegre y agradecida. Esto no lo hubiera logrado sin la ayuda de Dios y de las personas tan maravillosas que donaron para mi educación.

La carrera que voy a estudiar es una Licenciatura en Traducción e Interpretación del Idioma Inglés, con el propósito de que en un futuro ayude a la fundación colaborando con los equipos que vienen del extranjero. Mis metas y sueños son graduarme de la universidad con las mejores calificaciones, conseguir un buen trabajo, comprarme una casa, un carro, para luego casarme, tener una familia.

Uno de mis deseos más grandes es servirle al Señor por el resto de mi vida, ayudar a La Casa económicamente, ayudar a mi familia propia con sus necesidades económicas, si es posible comprarles una casa.

La Casa de mi Padre ES MI HISTORIA, es mi casa, mi familia. Nunca olvidaré todo lo que he vivido aquí, pues he recibido mucha ayuda en mis estudios, incluyendo un técnico en Inglés. También ha sido un lugar donde me han cuidado mucho, en mi salud y en todos los aspectos. He crecido conociendo de Dios cada día, enfrentando cada obstáculo. Esta experiencia quiero contársela a mi familia biológica y a todos los que pueda, pues este lugar representa mi vida, por el amor de Dios estoy aquí.

Ahora me toca dejar La Casa, la extrañaré mucho. Me voy a La Casa de Transición, formaré parte de esta nueva casa. Ahí vivire junto a 7 jóvenes más y con una pareja de padres. A través de este milagro, Dios me muestra sus planes. Esta nueva etapa me emociona mucho; es una oportunidad mas que la Fundación y Dios me dan. Ahí aprenderé a ser independiente, a tomar mis propias decisiones que definirán mi futuro. Agradezco a Dios por permitirme llegar hasta este momento.
